The Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Lisbon seeks to achieve the improvement of the well-being of the whole person, primarily the most unprotected.

It is best known for its Social Action and for ensuring the exploitation of the State Social Games in Portugal, but it also develops an important work in the areas of Health, Education and Teaching, Culture and Promotion of Quality of Life.
